50% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to our organization, and will go towards funding student scholarships!

Ice Cream Social
Our annual end of Band Camp tradition!
This is your chance to commemorate the current students for all of their hard work during band camp. Get ready to see a sneak peak of pregame and the first half time show, reconnect with alumni from across the eras of the Blue Thunder Marching Band, and enjoy some ice cream on the patio! RSVP/Registration is required to attend.

40th Anniversary Celebration/Homecoming Weekend!
This is a special year for the band-
We are commemorating the 40th season anniversary of the Blue Thunder Marching Band returning to their place as part of the Bronco Gameday experience!
We hope you can join us for a weekend of events to reconnect with your band friends, meet other alumni, meet current members, and be a key part in making this homecoming one that we will talk about for years to come!
We are excited to invite all Blue Thunder Alumni to Boise State University to join and march with the Blue Thunder Marching Band for Homecoming Parade! This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow alumni as we celebrate our Boise State pride. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 2nd, 2026. Then, join in on the Game Day Experience with the Blue Thunder Game Day Warm up experience and tailgate parade!

Homecoming Parade
We are excited to invite all Blue Thunder Alumni to Boise State University to join and march with the Blue Thunder Marching Band for Homecoming Parade Friday October 10th, 2025! This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow alumni as we celebrate our Boise State pride. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 10th, 2025. Then, join in on the Game Day Expirence to celebrate the Orange and Blue with Blue Thunder BBQ and then follow the band through Game Day Warm up and tailgate parade!
Participation Details:
Parade Participation Cost: $35 per participant.
(includes a Blue Thunder shirt) Join in and play the fight song and Cadence through the parade alongside the current Blue Thunder Marching Band. Optional Addon: $30 Hat
Instruments: Please arrive with your own instruments, or rent from a local music shop for the day! No instrument, no problem, join by passing out candy along the parade route or hop on the Alumni Float following the band!
Tentative Schedule:
4:00 PM - Call Time & Registration Check-In
Arrive at the designated location on campus to check in, receive your alumni materials, and pick up your shirt.
4:30 PM - Alumni Rehearsal
Alumni will have a dedicated rehearsal to refresh on the parade music and marching techniques.
5:00 PM - Band & Alumni Rehearsal
Join the current Blue Thunder Marching Band for a combined rehearsal, preparing for the parade and game day festivities.
6:00 PM - Parade Line Up
Get into formation with the band and alumni as we prepare to march in the Homecoming parade.
